Do people who cheat the system make out better than those who work and pay their dues?

Jenny, I would love to think that people who are dishonest and do the wrong thing eventually get their Karma. But sometimes it just seems like it is a long time coming and that can be frustrating; but I do believe that people who lie and cheat do get theirs in the end. It is true that perhaps they make out better than us honest folk, but at the end of the day it all comes down to interpretation and what we as individuals consider to be a happy life. I think even if these people are in front now, eventually their lies and cheating come back to bite them hard.

Nope, what goes around, comes around.  My wife knows a familywho are always cheating the welfare system. There are so many, expensive, things that go wrong with their life, it is unbelievable.

It sounds to me as if Karma is giving them their just desserts for being cheats. Not that we would ever wish bad on someone, but it is frustrating when you are not seeing Karma knocking on their door.

Ah, but we do see the knocking, the way to avoid negative kama knocking on our door is - right thought, right speech, right action.

Yes and no. Yes because in the former, it is all about end justifying the means and in the latter, the means justifying the end. There is however what we call comeuppance, the natural justice that serves each one of us right ...
