Could be. There are many theories about how the universe started. some say with the big bang, but others now believe that we may be part of a bubble universe. In other words there are multiple universes that somehow overlap ours. For example one theory is that the massive black hole in the centre of our galaxy may somehow have produced our universe. At the singularity point, the centre, where gravity is so strong some scientists believe that somehow Matter shot through from another universe and produced ours. But at the moment its still speculation. If this is the case then we may very well have not had a beginning of this universe or others too.

It's not actually endless. Scientists have found that the universe is slowing down so it could be possible that it's going to go back to one point and then restarts itself again.
