A peacekeeper is someone in a UN blue helmet and a Peacemaker is a Colt single action revolver.
A peacekeeper is someone who keeps the peace between two sides who can't agree or who are at war. A peacemaker is someone who is able to bring two sides together in peace, to resolve opposing sides grievances to a successful conclusion.
