This is a difficult question. It is basically on the same premise is your glass empty or half full. It really depends on the individuals outlook on life.
I think that is very possible. I also think it's possible to go the other way as well. It all depends on how experiences impact a person through life.
I think it's just a matter of training yourself to think more positive. When someone walks up to me and starts saying all the negative things about a person or event, I tell them "Look on the bright side . . ." and then mention a least one little thing about that person or event which is good. It takes some hard work. I know because I used to be one of the half-empty people.
