Why is it necessary to vote answers down because the answer is the diametric opposite response
to the question asked? After all, each is entitled to his/her opinion/synopsis of the situation as long as the answer is not hate speech nor abusive in content.
Based on my experience in Answers section, I find that there many people who lack sense of humor, capacity to accept opposite views, capacity to understand sarcasm. I can't understand why people should feel so proud and egoistic in a faceless forum like this! May be, voting down is there way of saying "I know better".
