    Binomial nomenclature or binary nomenclature is a standard,conventional way of naming animal and plant species by their latin name that has TWO components.For example the binary nomenclature for Rose (the plant) is "Rosa Rubiginosa".The inventor of binomial nomenclature is Carolus Linnaeus a Swedish botanist.
