A Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers where the next number is the sum of the previous two number. For example:
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, ...
Fibonacci numbers can be used to describe various natural shapes including the pattern of seeds in many different flowers and the surfaces of pine cones and pineapples, and the spiral shape of many seashells.
The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers where any number in the series (besides 0 and 1) is the sum of the previous two numbers.
1 + 1 is 2
2 + 1 is 3
2 + 3 is 5
And so on. The series goes on forever and is often seen in nature: ferns, pinecones, romanesco, shells, etc.
