Have you ever bought an online ebook to see if your stolen work was in it?
Several of my stolen articles searches end at a sites like cl*ckbank and other affiliate sites. I can't see what the book says unless I buy it.
Would you or have you done this to see if your work was being sold?
I've actually done this, to find out if my stories were used in an anthology.
A man using the pseudonym David Byron Boyer posed as an editor online, and I sent him some of my stories. My stories he used with my name in it, but he used others' stories with his name on it. Some works he simply plagiarized (even Dean Koontz), while others he used without permission, telling people they'd never been published.
