society?  What are the ways that American media driven culture and society reward, even deify beauty?  What are the myriad socioeconomic advantages that beautiful people have?

I guess that the only advantage they have is that is the first initial impression for example in an interview room. For sure no one even the interview panel hates beautiful things. We all like flowers, right?

Beautiful people are viewed as attractive, even healthy.  They furthermore embody sexiness and sensuality.  They are people that others want to be around because by their presence, people simply feel better.  Subconsciously, beautiful people are go getters and represent success.  If you see pictures of affluent people in advertisements, they are range from very attractive to beautiful in appearance.  Beauty represents the ultimate in refinement and culture.

The more beautiful a person is, the more doors and opportunities open for him/her.  People who are attractive are more likely to be hired in highly visible professions than their less attractive, plainer counterparts.  Beautiful people are a draw because they have the most, mass appeal.  They are also alluring and non-threatening to the public and to clientele.  People want to do business with beautiful people because they know that such people will bring in money and will aptly represent their particular product/brand.  Beautiful people are placed on a pedestal and exemplified as opposed to mere Average Joe and Plain Jane.  They are deemed special, unique, and above the masses so to speak.

Beautiful people have the world as their oyster.  They have myriad advantages in terms of choices and options regarding careers, life choices, and relationships.  Better class of people, both male and female, gravitate towards beautiful people.  Beautiful people can be discriminating in their choices as to whom they will have relationships with.  They are also less likely to tolerate a less than positive relationship as there are more choices out there.  In essence, beautiful people do not have to settle for relationships, they can choose anyone they want.
