Do you have photographic imagination too?
I'm developing a skill I discovered by accident where you relax with your eyes closed in a dark room, clear your mind as if meditating and begin to look hard and long into the dark but being careful not to look at anything, and when you can get to the stage when you are not looking at the blackness the surrounds your visual field you may see image form and you can control what forms by thinking it.
Ofcourse you can also do that normally which is called imagination, but you can't see your imagined thoughts in clear detail like a photograph. It's quite different.
I have a smart guess which I think this could be some special brain activity similar to dreaming or self hypnotizing. I have the photographic imagination ability usually before I sleep, feeling tired or bored. It is quite a useful ability I encourage you to develop it.
