What kind of flower is this?
A friend says it's a tulip. She's pretty good at flowers but I've never seen a tulip like this. This picture was taken in March. I'm not sure if it was deliberately planted. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
To me, it looks like a type of tiger lily. They come in all kinds of different colors & when in full bloom look just like this. I've got a garden full of orange, yellow, & pink tiger lilies just down the street from me. I may be wrong - but this flower looks just like them.
