Right now I wonder if life is just a series of random events and intersections. However in saying that I feel we'd do better in the happiness quotient if we believe there is meaning to our lives. Otherwise life just wouldn't make sense and we couldn't stand it. The old cubist painter Pablo Picasso said "life doesnt make sense so why should I paint pictures that make sense". Maybe if there was no meaning to our existence we'd be less sombre and more playful?
