Teachers in Wyoming, has a grizzly bear ever attacked your school?

Trump appointee for Secretary of Education,Betsy DeVos, stated in her confirmation hearing this bizarre example for why school faculty members should carry guns. Does anyone know if such a thing happened? Sure, there's a lot of the disturbing things she mentioned, but this is by far the most memorable from her confirmation hearing.

I went to school on a forested mountain and we had bears roaming around constantly.  There was also a cougar once and countless coyotes.  We all somehow managed to survive without anyone being armed.

those coyotes can go anywhere. I live in the coastal area of Orange County (not far from Disneyland). I've spotted coyotes roaming my streets on several occasions. Usually they run when they see humans. Same with black bears in the foothills in LA.

Because she didn't want the blow back of bringing up teachers having guns to take out school shooters.

Her comments were meant to be a justification not a deflection.
