If you're interested in philosophy , who's your most influential philosopher? And why?
Also do you think those same philosophies can be used in modern times?
HI Guardian! i just completed a college philosophy class, and I hate to be so unoriginal but I favor Aristotle.
Socrates and Plato really got the ball going with their ideas of ideal forms, but Aristotle helped apply that knowledge to a more tangible physical realm, which I greatly appreciated.
Besides them, Descartes, Hume, and Aquinas were all interesting to study as well.

Who is more prone to succeed; a philosopher? ~OR~ A psychologist?I'm challenged as I am fascinated by studying both! Yet, cannot determine which I am stronger as, lol.
