Designing cities, buildings and infrastruction to balance with the sacred geometry of the Earth. It has been done before many times.

Basically, a green world is an unpolluted world. It is a world which consists of unpolluted and protected water sources. It is a world where crops are grown without pesticides, organically.
A green world is a world with clean air. We have cleaner air than China or India due to regulations on emissions from cars and factories. The CO2 buildup is possibly a myth. What is the proof? I have a friend who believes the CO2 level is so high that it cannot escape the upper atmosphere, even if cars were outlawed today. He claims scientists have come to this conclusion by testing the upper atmosphere. But some authors have written books claiming there is no scientific proof.

Meanwhile, there are things we can be doing on an individual level to help with clean water and reduce the buildup of methane gas in our sewers, but who bothers to inform us that we should not be pouring chemicals into our toilets and sinks?

A green world would include community gardens. People living in their neighborhood or town could pitch in and contribute to a locally managed garden, including children. Only an an acre or so would be needed for such a project.

A green world would include more arboretums and gardens for the public to enjoy. In a public garden setting, there could be pathways for trams, small trains on small railroad tracks for children, gardening classes for children and adults, galleries for art shows, art classes for all ages, etc., in appreciation and celebration of the natural world.

We have such a place here. It is called Descanso Gardens. What if public gardens such as this one were located in our inner cities? These gardens would provide not only beauty and education for the people who live there, but jobs as well.

Actually, as I think about it, areas such as these have already been established in every city of the nation, just about. They are called parks. For instance, Central Park in New York is quite a wonder and so necessary! Here, we have Brand Park which includes a library for art and music, galleries for art shows and studios for art classes. We have the The LA Arboretum which features tram rides through an endless array of trees in the natural setting of the foothills above Los Angeles county. We also have access to the mountains, where there are nature reserves, such as Eaton Canyon in Pasadena, featuring the local flora, fauna and wild life. Places like these exist across the nation. There are reserves which protect the birds along the coast, and other animal populations in other wilderness areas.

We need to remember the good stuff about America. For instance, we have done a good job protecting our water supplies and the land. The science involved in the operating and maintaining our Water Systems is amazing. We need to appreciate what we have and maintain what we have, as we dream about improvements ...
    scientifically speaking. smile
