Just because its summer...don't stop reading to your kids. Kids need that special time...and years later, you will be surprised how much it meant to them. If your kids are older...have them read to you...share some of their favorite authors. Reading and talking about books never gets old if approached the right way...and never takes a summer vacation. Take time for your kids...
I would agree with this. I don't hae kids, but I loved being read to by one of my elder sisters who introduced me to books that I would never have come across. Those memories stay with me today at nearly 50 and I havealways had a love of books.

What/who is your inspiration for writing?As a younger person, I was inspired by Twain, but as I grew older and my tastes matured, I have found that William Faulkner has such a unique style, as if the page were his canvas, and he was artistically painting it with his words.
