What are ways of expressing one's dissatisfaction on a friendship?

Generally, I believe, we "pull back" from the friendship when we are dissatisified.

We tell the other party we are busy that day. We close off topics of conversation. We establish boundaries to protect ourselves from the pain that the less than desirable friendship relationship will probably cause us. We dis-allow the friendship to enter into levels of personal space where we would normally allow it, and truthfully where we wanted it to go, if it were a friendship relationship that was found to be acceptable and everything we wanted it to be.

Simply put... we put on our armor and raise our shields.

Thats right Mkel.. I would agree on that "pull back" . and I still believe that sometimes we are dissatisfied or turn off since we expected too much. tracking back to my case, i just want him to have a lesson but not to deny him for ever.
