Spot the Differences

Updated on January 14, 2015

Find the Differences Worksheets

We've all seen those find the differences worksheets where two pictures are shown. One has things removed or added, and the trick is to spot the differences.

These games help with observation skills. Spot the differences puzzles can be a great way to teach children to be aware of their surroundings, to pay attention to details, and to hone their eagle eye. And when the kids are finished finding the differences in the two pictures, they can color the worksheet.

You can print the large images provided here so you and your child can find the differences for yourselves. And there are links for online spot the difference games, too.

This spot the differences picture is available at Activity Express.

Many a happy childhood hour was spent doing these puzzles. Plenty of adult hours too, helping the grandchildren. Their eyesight is much sharper than mine. Nice article!

Actually spot the difference pictures would be a great work out for the brain. The more you challenge your brain to take on new concepts the more it will work to make use of brain cells in areas of the brain that are sitting idle. This is very important as we age and for helping to slow down alzheimers and dimentia. Plus they are fun :)

I've gotten addicted to Hidden Object video games and there are always some of of these puzzles included. Some of them are easy and some are really hard. My last data entry job also started giving out quizzes with these so that we would train our eyes to look for important data. Great lens.

My favorite pastime. Unfortunately my girl is still too small, and find it too hard-probably next year, or just small pictures...
