Dot to Dot Worksheets

Updated on October 9, 2014

Easy Dot to Dot and Beyond

Dot to dot worksheets are fun for kids of all ages. Using easy dot to dot sheets is a great way to reinforce numbers and counting for young children.

Drawing the line from one dot to the next helps with fine motor skills and when the dots are connected, coloring the page is a bonus.

Connect the Dots for Learning and Fun

Use dot to dot worksheets and coloring pages as part of your child's fun time that will teach them at the same time. Many dot-to-dot worksheets provide more than just connecting the dots. Kids can count the numbers while they connect the dots, reinforcing recognition of numbers and sequencing.

If the alphabet is used instead of numbers, children can practice saying the alphabet and recognizing each letter.

And maybe the best part, when all the dots are connected, your child can reveal what the picture is. Make sure to praise them for connecting all of the dots, even if there are only a few dots. Small steps lead to great strides.

Dot to dot worksheets are fun for kids, it also helps them get a sense of how to draw in a way too. Another good fun sheet would be to those mazes where you have to draw from the start to the end.
