why is it that there is death?
All things have must balance
Death, our old friend that visits everyone invited or uninvited.
Death must exist because there is Life! If there were no life there would be no Death and I would have nothing to write about because neither of us would be "here". Life is the real key to answering the question of "why is it that there is Death". Life I am defining as the ability to be conscious of your own existence. I know I am alive, I do not need anyone to tell me I am alive or their validation of this great fact. All living beings should know this to be true. This may seem above and beyond obvious, but I have had some one ask me how do we know we exist. I was befuddled that I would get get asked such a question.
Death is the physical cessation of all bodily functions. All physical things are temporary, so if you think I am this body then you should know that Death will happen. It must happen because even planets and stars have life cycles according to astrophysicists. What is a human body compared to energy of planets and stars.
All physical things have a beginning middle end. Death is the final conclusion of the physical world. From a human perspective Death moves the spirit along into the next realm or possibly next body. If one believe in a spirit, then Death will take us "the spiritual self" to our new home when we are done "here". The people we leave behind will see a physical death, but they will not see the spiritual transition.
