Audition and Predictions For America's Got Talent 7 - The Distinguished Men of Brass
The Distinguished Men of Brass auditioned for America's Got Talent 7 in Tampa Bay, Florida. All three judges gave them a YES vote, so this musical act is off to the Las Vegas auditions.
The Backstory
Members of The Distinguished Men of Brass used to work at some kind of amusement park. They did not mention the name of the park. When they were laid off, they formed this musical group.
So am I supposed to feel sorry cause some dudes got laid off from work years ago? It's not exactly a backstory. People lose their jobs all the time and find other work.
The Talent
Everything is average about this group, and Howard is simply lying by trying to say they are ready for a million dollars. You could teach any average high school band to do what The Distinguished Men of Brass did in their Tampa Bay audition. Simply put, the talent is just about as low as you can get for a serious act (in other words, not including the joke acts).
Uniqueness
Lest anyone think this act is unique, all I can say is you probably haven't seen many halftime shows of college football games if that is what you think. There is nothing unique about The Distinguished Men of Brass. They are only slightly above a random high school band and certainly don't sing as well as a high school choir. And the dancing is not really dancing.
Predictions:
This one is easy. The Distinguished Men of Brass have no chance of winning America's Got Talent 7.
