Ignore the incomplete Amazon title. This is the Saiyuki Reload Gunlock Ending Theme Song Mitsumeteitai Single by flow-war. The cover shows the members of flow-war. For more information about this music album and the Saiyuki series, look below

Perhaps the rest of the songs in the album is just viewed as unimportant compared to Mitsumeteitai.

Or maybe the music album was just mislabeled and misnamed because trying to search for it on the Internet certainly isn't bringing up much results.

Even the track list was practically impossible to find. The focus appears to only be on Mitsumeteitai.

Saiyuki Series Music

The Saiyuki series has an extensive collection of music that are all extremely wonderful to listen to with meaningful lyrics.

Some songs have even been sung by the seiyuus (voice actors) of the Sanzo-ikkou.

All the songs have nice, melodious beats. And all the singers of the songs have great voices that really add to the beauty of the songs.

The same could be said of Saiyuki Reload Gunlock Ending Theme Song Mitsumeteitai Single by flow-war.

Saiyuki Reload Gunlock (Vol. 1)
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock (Vol. 1)
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock volume 1 DVD. You can listen to Mitsumeteitai after watching an episode from this anime. The blond guy on the cover is Genjo Sanzo, one of the main characters of the show. Isn't he just plain hot and gorgeous? He's actually a monk of the highest order and he's got the powerful Maten Kyomon (Evil Sutra) draped over his shoulders.

There are 4 tracks in this album but only 3 are songs. The other one is an instrumental version of one of the songs. All the songs from this album are sung by flow-war.

Here is the track list for this album:

  1. Mitsumeteitai (見つめていたい)
  2. Gold Finger
  3. Mitsuki Ga Waratteiru (三日月が笑っている)
  4. Mitsumeteitai - this is the instrumental version (見つめていたい)

The Japanese characters that you see are from the album's track list from Amazon Japan. Gold Finger is listed as-is because it is an English title. Mitsumeteitai and Mitsuki Ga Waratteiru are both romaji versions of their respective Japanese titles. The romaji track list was obtained from nautiljon.com.

Mitsumeteitai TV Size Version

As mentioned above, this song is the first ending theme from the anime Saiyuki Reload Gunlock.

You can find the TV size version of Mitsumeteitai from the music album entitled Saiyuki Reload & Saiyuki Reload Gunlock TV Sound Collection.

This is a really wonderful song with a great tune and beat to it. It's catchy too though it sounds solemn and serious.

Years have passed, time has flowed on, spring is shorter than in the olden days

— Mitsumeteitai by flow-war (translated lyrics)
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, Vol. 2 [DVD]
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, Vol. 2 [DVD]
The cover of this anime DVD features Son Goku (no, not the one from Dragon Ball Z). This brunet is one of the main characters of the Saiyuki series. Don't underestimate him; he's really powerful. His main weapon is called the Nyoibou (Almighty Staff)

The voice of flow-war also sounds sad and sorrowful, which just adds more to the beauty of this song.

The translated lyrics of this song has a lot of meaning to it with words and phrases like 'you have changed', 'without presenting anything, only holding hands', and 'back-to-back, scowling at each other, an aquarium of rain'.

The song seems to be referring to the friendship of the Sanzo-ikkou with each other.

The 4 of them have different dynamics and ways of interacting with each other and this just shows the uniqueness of their friendship.

For example, Sanzo doesn't get along well with Gojyo and Goku and he's wont to whack them both with his harisen (paper fan) whenever they get on his nerves, which is pretty much a lot of the time.

It seems I'm not good at speaking of change

— Mitsumeteitai by flow-war (translated lyrics)

Goku and Gojyo tend to argue like cats and dogs over the littlest of things.

Hakkai gets along with everyone and he's the one that's always trying to get them all to stop fighting with each other.

However, in spite of all this and more, the Sanzo-ikkou still stand by each other. They still travel together. They have each other's backs in battle and they try their best to protect and defend each other.

  • The first YouTube video is the full version of Mitsumeteitai
  • The second video is the TV size version of Mitsumeteitai.
  • In this particular video, you can also see the same images that you would see when you see this song after watching an episode of Saiyuki Reload Gunlock

I want to stare at you in your entirety forever, even your crying face

Sha Gojyo is featured in the cover of this DVD. He's a hanyou, which means that he's half-human and half-demon

Gold Finger and Mitsuki Ga Waratteiru (三日月が笑っている), the other 2 songs in this album, don't really appear in any of the Saiyuki series.

These are just other songs by flow-war that are included in this album.

This might be the reason why these songs seem non-existent in the Internet, whether in the form of lyrics or sample songs.

It seems that what is considered more important is only Mitsumeteitai and it is the song that is most known since it appears as an ending theme to a popular anime series.

I wonder if by matching our steps we can progress

— Mitsumeteitai by flow-war (translated lyrics)
