Did Vince Vaughn just come out? Or is this just another rumor?
It is never easy to stand alone!
This worth a watch and a listen. Warning! Not for the closed of mind!
Yes he did! He is an open Conservative...believe it or not.
Holllywood has been known as being almost exclusely liberal for a longtime! Ever since John Wayne retired, actors and directors have been, by the droves, sharing liberal or even socialist view points non stop it seems.
Then a few came out, like Tom Sellick, Ron Silver, Jeanine Turner, and Angie Harmon. The problem is, their movie careers ended almost immeadiately. Then, they could only find work on T.V. Later, after they were Icons, Clint Eastwood, Slyvester Stalone, and Mel Gibson came out, but at that point, who could stop them?
Even James Caviezel is done on the big screen! He was awesome as Jesus Christ, The Count and Bobby Jones.
So, before I get to Vince Vaughn's announcement, I want to probe this a bit more. Why is the Conservative actor chastised by Hollywood? What has been the consequences? And are there others who won't come out because of this?
Hollywood is very elitist when it comes to politics. You either go along with their status quo, like a lemming, or, you are out! There is a lot of evidence to prove that. Why do you think great actors like Billy Zane, Luke Wilson, and those previously mentioned get very few roles now, but Danny Divito, Justin Timberlake, and Keanue Reeves gets roles by the score? Like I said once most actors come out as conservatives, its over except for T.V. maybe.
A great book about a stupid practice!
If other, please tell me who it is.
Who were you the most surprised to hear was a conservative?
Some brave Conservatives actually exist in Hollywood! How is that possible?
Before I list those that I think are conservative but are not open about it yet, here are my favorites who are-
Here they are:
Slyvester Stalone, Bruce Willis, Luke Wilson, Alan Covert, Tom Sellick, Tom Snyder, Angie Harmon, Janine Turner, John Voight, Gerald McRaney, Stacey Dash, Clint Eastwood,Fred Williamson, Dennis Miller, and the list goes on.
Another great book!
Who is next?
Here are the ones that I really believe are on the right, but haven't said. Adam Sandler, Ashton Kuetcher, Luke Wilson, Lucy Liu, LL Cool J., Chris Evans, Bradley Cooper, and James Franco.
So who are your favorites, and who do you think is next?
And now, for Vince's story.
Vince Vaughn had humble beginnings when he was born in Minnesota, in 1970. He is famous for his screwball comedies, like Wedding Crashers, Dodge Ball, Swingers, the Watch, and many others. He frequently appears with his old friends John Faverue, and Ben Stiller in these crazy, but funny movies. However, when he was lesser known, Vince starred more than once as a serial killer in such movies like Clay Pigeons, Domestic Disturbance, and the remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.
Known as an upcoming star, and a rising name Hollywood, Vince's future has looked bright until now. Now, the word is out about Vince Being a strong conservative, who is involved in the Republican Party. Already, I have seen the roles he normally gets on the down slope! If you look at his resume, he was starring in 2-3 movies per year, on average. It came out that he was a Conservative, and lo and behold, He starred in nothing in 2014!
It has always bothered me to see the careers of good actors and actresses (for example, Angie Harmon, Jeanine Turner, Susan Luci, Fred Williamson, Freddy Rodrigiz, James Caviezel, and Tom Selleck) get bamboozled when they say who and what they are. It is even worse when they admit that they are a conservative Christian!
How can Hollywood talk about and try to indoctrinate about diversity and yet, practice this type of exclusion? That has always seemed hypocritical to me, and should be brought before the public more often than it has been! That is the whole point of me writing this piece. I hope that you enjoy this, and please leave me a comment below and tell me who some of your favorites are. Thank you all!
