Disney Beauty And The Beast DVD
I love Beauty and the Beast
Disney's Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney Princess Stories. This movie was also an all time favorite for my girls who are now grown. We have watched our DVD again and again over the years. Disney first released Beauty and the Beast in 1991 and as you know, Disney only re-releases their animated movies every 10 years. So I am excited to see that Beauty And The Beast (Two-Disc Diamond Edition) will be released on October 23rd, just in time for Christmas.
Beauty and the Beast is a story that teaches that beauty is within. In the tale the handsome prince was cursed because he wouldn't help an ugly old woman, who was really a beautiful princess. So she put a curse on him turning him into an ugly Beast. The only way to break the curse would be if someone could love the Beast. This is where the Beautiful Bell comes in. She learns to love the Beast and break the spell.

This movie is very entertaining with singing and dancing candlesticks. Even the tea cups sing and dance. My favorite song is "Be our Guest". It is a really fun movie.
This movie is also ageless. My girls had everything that had anything to do with Belle. And I'm sure little girls today would feel the same way. One year I had a little girl dress up in a Beauty and the Beast Bell Halloween Costume. And I'm sure we still have some beauty and the beast collectibles and Belle and the Beast action figures up in the attic.
