The story begins with our protagonist, Yukito Kunisaki, who lives a poor life. Traveling from town to town, he tries to make a living off his puppet show. One day in town, he meets Misuzu Kamio and offers him residence. Yukito then decides to there and search for the winged angel girl that was mentioned in a childhood tale.

The story revolves around a boy named Niwa Makato. Since his parents went away to do some business, he lives with his aunt's family. He meets his strange and mysterious cousin named Touwa Erio. Oddly, she ties a futon mattress around her upper body. She claims to be an alien. Having been missing for almost more than 6 months and floating in the sea, she does not remember anything that occurred during that time.

The story has both supernatural beings. The main characters in both stories find themselves in a strange place full of strange people. However, they get used to it. The anime also has plenty of funny scenes. Although it does not have the fighting scenes you are looking for, this anime is still worth watching.

This anime like Angel Beats! is one that I enjoyed. A teenage boy called Tomoki Sakurai often dreams of a girl asking for her help all the time, but could never remember her face every time he wakes up. Tomoki Sakurai always believed in peace and tranquility. However, one day, he witnesses an UMA(Unidentified Mysterious Animal) crashes and lands nearby. He soon discovers that a winged female humanoid called Ikaros, was in that UMA and declares to be his servant. More and more of these angels starting arriving, he loses the peace and tranquility that he enjoys, but he also gains pleasant things from the "Angeloids".

Plenty of comedy and romance and supernatural beings. However, it has ecchi scenes, so that might not be something you like. But hey, most anime always have some fan service, which I don't blame them.

Getting half priced bento(packed lunch boxes) is a free for all affair between customers. Yō Satō, a new high school student, found that out the harsh way by reaching for one, only to be beaten up in the supermarket. Apparently, they have bento brawls, where the winner gets the bento as the prize. There are unspoken rules in the brawl to make the match fair and even. Sen Yarizui, an upper classmate, decides to educate him about the rules. Yō Satō then decided to find out if he has what it takes to be a true bento brawler.

While there are no angels here, this anime like Angel Beats! features butt kicking females as they get into odd situations. It has suspense and disbelief as well. Like always, they have fan service.

The protagonist Riki Naoe, was recruited by 4 kids known as the "Little Busters" after the death of his parents. As they went to high school, they have 2 missions. They need to recruit members so that they can form a good baseball team. However, they would prefer having female recruits as it is a sausage fest currently. The second mission is a little different than the first. Riki has to find superhero strength to conquer his fears of expressing his feelings to Rin, a girl that he likes.

It has a lot of drama and romance. Although it lacks action packed scenes, I still recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Angel Beats!.

Akihisa Yoshii, the "baka" of the anime, is the protagonist. The academy that he is in is divided by the different ranks based on "smartness". The smart students are in the "A" class and they have luxury classrooms. On the other hand, the delinquent students are in the "F" class, with sub-par classrooms compared to the "A" class. Mizuki Himeji, one of the brightest students caught a fever and ended failing a test, landing her in the "F" class, the same class as Akihisa. Together with the Himeji, Akihisa rallies his classmates to seize the luxury stuff that the higher rank class enjoys by summoning creatures.

This anime like Angel Beats! has a lot of funny scenes, and they fight wars to get what they want. The romance side of the anime is also something that I find interesting as well. I highly recommend watching this.
