Hi Neil Sperling, NO!!! I am sorry but it is no.
Introduction to Digital Story Telling.
This page is about Digital Story Telling in example and attempts to make use of the power of duplication.
The man, Neil Sperling mentioned throughout is a guy who has been telling his story online through Hubpages and was seemingly impressed by my own visual art work and Digital Story Telling. Nothing particularly strange about that really, except I actually believed he was genuine and still do. Anyway Neil created a hub entitled Corporate Greed vs Government Waste which although I found concerning I didn't find it particularly new or inspiring until I tried to make a comment. These are my attempts at trying to make that comment and my realizations that something has to change for the better. Also an attempt at inspiring people to wake up and stop sleep walking and just say NO!!! I don't want this to continue.
For everybody including Neil Sperling.
"I love art..... Glad to hear you have achieved success doing something you love. Awesome! Did your followers talk about your art and share their love of your art with their friends.... how did you achieve success?
Glad to follow you - you are cool!" Neil Sperling.
I am sorry but I don't often do the fan stuff online so cannot post an answer to your question through the Hubpages fan system.
I am happy you do love art but it is subjective like music, different strokes for different folks.
We are both a new and different kind of artist because we are what has been called/termed/named as being, Digital Story Tellers. I struggled for a couple of years trying to decide what kind of artist I am. Trying to come up with a good name to call this art and recently the term, Digital Story Tellers has been coined a couple of times in articles I have read and filmed programs I have watched and listened to.
It is fitting to us both because that is what we are doing, telling digital stories in the digital space.
As a visual artist I have been successful since I was 14 years old I am 52 nearly so it has been 36 years in that context but in the Aristotelian concept of art I will never reach success and can only attain fleeting glimpses of it because art is the struggle for that which cannot be attained, perfection. It is the struggle/journey/vocation which is the real success and I have been extremely lucky to have had this great opportunity. I have created many things, art works, scattered all over the world and still growing in number and development, I am extremely lucky.
I consider that I do have fans they are the people who want my work but I really don't want my work to be owned so I have stopped selling it, especially my visual art. I consider myself as a Digital Story Teller, to be a public artist, whose art is in the public domain for everybody who can or wants to experience it
Hi Neil, I really want to say something but what can I say?
Corporate Greed vs Government Waste
Its the same story, different people, time and place, but the same story, it is a cycle of capital consolidation, that has always produced the same results, failure of the human spices. It is not much good grumbling about it I have been doing that since I was born, the answer has always been war. It is not a final solution to the problem because it just occurs father up the road again. The picture is too big to see in it's present form and trying to do that does not address the issue. It is like trying to understand the universe, every time you look at the answer it just raises more questions. Scientists have taken us to the extremes of a God particle and still it poses more questions because it is about change. Nothing stays the same, everything changes, you could say it is about creation because creation only comes about because something changes.
You should take a look at this page and if you want the full story then you will have to.
- Corporate Greed vs Government Waste
Corporate greed and Government Waste are two of the most destructive forces contributing to the disappearing middle class. We need to stand together to fight BOTH. Save the middle class, reduce government waste and eliminate corporate greed.
Hi Neil, I want to say something positive but I am paralysed.
Another try at this comment to, Corporate Greed vs Government Waste
I have have seen this many times in history books and happening around me since the 70s but it never gets resolved. It goes back as far as the human species and regardless of what present day scientists tell us they don't really know how far that is because it is just guesswork.
What can I say, those who say something can't be done shouldn't interfere with those trying to do it . If I say something can't be done then the only thing I can almost guarantee is I won't even try or if I do I won't really have the fire of motivation within me to do it with conviction. We should return back to our roots, what roots would they be, because we don't really know where we come from, how we got here or how long we have been here, its all guess work. I could tell you an amazing story about why it always fails or give you the driving forces behind the failure but it won't be a solution and only make you as entrenched as I am if you believe me.
“Did your followers talk about your art and share their love of your art with their friends.... how did you achieve success?” Neil Sperling.
This is where Neil explains the power of duplication and where the question above comes from.
- Understand and "Use" the Power Of Duplication
The power of Duplication will not only bring a product to market fast, but also the power of duplication is behind all great society progressions. This hub shows you why and how to use this power.
My story, my answer, in my words.
The power of duplication.
Easy, people are nosy but really it was done in the same way as I didn't have the other 1 billion, 9 hundred million, 9 hundred thousand and 4 hundred, join me, if I got the number right, it wasn't duplication.
It was having the opportunity to be able to do so. It was having the opportunity to get myself in front of a couple of million people. It was because of the massive numbers available. It was because I put my head up above the crowd and people are nosy. I don't think those people all clicked off to tell their friends or I would have had many, many more, according to duplication.
Just knowing that I like certain things means others will also but not all of them. It didn't cost them any money directly and the media have already primed them for me from birth into mindless entertainment consumption. I also had a lot of help from an education system that crushes peoples creativity by trying to make them subservient, a bit like managers and the like, as well. Like people being told that other people are talented when talent doesn't exist.
Plus I wasn't trying to do it by giving people rubbish or something they don't want but according to duplication I should be well on the way to 2 billion which I am but by the time I get there those who found me first will have long forgotten.
It all still only looks good on paper because in reality it is a lot of work, it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination and when you get them you have to keep them entertained. The thing is there are so many of them out there that there will be fresh blood for a long time to come.
The truth is I have already exceeded my dreams because in the past 4 years more than a million people have seen my work or at least clicked to see it. So as an artist that puts me somewhere I wouldn't have been in a gallery 20 years ago. The only thing I can say is if I wasn't out there then it wouldn't have happened by chance.
Sorry but duplication still only looks good on paper it is like talent, a lot of continuous and on going work. Not at all like being born with a silver spoon in your mouth and having all and sundry running round for you, like the kings and queens or unseen bankers making profit out of thin air.
The only place I have seen duplication work is inside the banking system for those who we never get to see or even know about. The ones who don't exist but do, playing the ultimate fantasy in the old money game, of subservience through debt and the good old money trick.
Again I have to say that you should take a look at this page and if you want the full story then you will have to.
