How Much Snow Did Wisconsin Get?

Updated on February 1, 2011

Even The Squirrels Are Staying "In"

Earlier this week, southern Wisconsin was hit with a major snowstorm and was buried under 14-20+ inches of snow. I actually wrote a hub page about the conflict this creates between those of us who do not have snowblowers and those neighbors who do.

Other effects include our dog, Zoey, wanting to go chase squirrels although they have been staying nesteled in their beds I'd say for most of the time since the storm hit. So she goes through the motions but there is no squirrels about to chase!

Check out the story if you haven't about my dog's normal morning routine or watch the video:

Where are the squirrels? Very likely inside the pine tree out front which was buried during the snowstorm and now inside there is a nice shelter from the elements. We've been calling it the "Pine Tree Igloo".

Pine Tree Igloo!!!!

This was so cute watching your dog Zoey trying to catch squirrels in the snow. She can surely jump high!!!

Dear John, I emailed this link to my in-laws in Mass., Rick and Mel and Patty and Bubba. We all enjoy the snow, unless we're stuck in it trying to get from Point A to Point B. Mel had expressed an interest in how much snow Wisconsin got. I think this is great!
