 Lúcia Moniz was born in Lisbon on 9 September 1976. Early on she realized her talents for music and acting. Started by the music world, performing the best performance in Portuguese final of the Eurovision Song Contest, with only 19 years (1996), achieving a creditable 6th place.

Three years later he had recorded his first CD - Magnolia. It was stated as one of the great promises of Portuguese music, which was confirmed with their next CD's - "67" and "Leva-me para Casa".

However, Lucia was also conducting national interests in cinema and theatre, starting in the theater with the play Saudades do Futuro, but winning role in the production of RTP The Great Game. Also entered in the fiction of TVI, in the novel Saber Amar.

More recently, starred in "Vingança", part of this production with a cast of luxury. Do not leave us indifferent to her Laura, with superb performance.

Also in the cinema, the actress had a leading role in participating in the film Love Actually, alongside Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, among other actors of international standing. More recently, it is worth noting the film The Italian Writer (which there is no way to debut!) And Second Life, both Portuguese films.

Despite his latest CD date from 2005, Lúcia Moniz said recently that he would be composing and preparing his return to music, a little left of the last few years, much due to the constant requests he had received as an actress, albeit with some specific interests in collaboration with other musicians (Paulo Gonzo, Dr1ve, Shout).
