Miss Venezuela Crowned Miss Universe 2009
Once again, Venezuela got the Miss Universe title. Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez, is now the reigning Miss Universe 2009 succeeding the throne of Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008.
Stephania Fernandez is 18 years old, stands 5’10’’ and proved once again the beauty and brain of Venezuelan women tops the famous beauty pageant. Venezuela won the title six times already.
Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza crowned the Peace Crown to her successor Stephania Fernandez. Due to excitement and much surprise, the famous crown fell. But with much poise and beauty, the new Miss Universe waves as she wears the new crown, ready to promote peace, love and unity.
Miss Congeniality is Miss China, Wang Jingyao while Miss Photogenic goes to Miss Thailand Chutima Durongdej. On the Preliminary Pageant, Best in National Costume was announced and it is won by Miss Panama, Diana Broce.
