Reactions To The Avengers Movie Premiere Indicates The Movie Will Be A Hit!

Updated on April 14, 2012

The Red Carpet Premiere of The Avengers movie only happened last Wednesday in L.A. The Avengers did indeed "assemble" during the premiere, in which the entire cast walked down the red carpet, greeted fans, and did interviews before watching the final version of the epic and massive achievement that's to be released upon the masses on May 4rth!

If you want to see the video for The Avengers Red Carpet Premiere as well as interviews with director Joss Whedon, actors Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, as well as legendary comic book creator, writer, and editor, Stan "The Man" Lee!

Also in attendance were select celebrities and media, who were also fortunate to see this early screening. The reaction from them has already been instant, and they wasted no time tweeting about their opinions of The Avengers movie!

Talk about excitement?

I know that many comic fans have had many concerns about this film. I know I do, and the biggest concerned was about the Hulk. It's quite clear that many fans were disappointed in how the Hulk was presented in his two earlier films.

Was Marvel going to screw up the Hulk again in The Avengers, or are they going to finally get him right this time?

Early tweets from magazines and film reviewers give us a bit of insight on whether the Hulk finally lives up to all his green goodness in the Avengers!

Also, did the characters of Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye gel or was it just too many superheroes and too much to deal with?

Let's see what they've had to say about what they saw!

Reactions To The Avengers Screening!

FirstShowing: The Avengers – Epic. EPIC! Everyone fights everyone, but it does deliver. Marvel’s movies get better every single one. Hulk! HULK!!

BadassDigest: AVENGERS is good enough to make me forgive IRON MAN 2.

SlashFilm: I’d tweet about The Avengers but my body is still recovering from non-stop geeking out. So, so, so much fun (for the most part).

AintItCool: THE AVENGERS. Finally, a Marvel film with a rousing finish. That third act is more than enough to make THE AVENGERS the best Marvel movie yet.

Variety: It’s the bomb. I could not possibly say enough. Not a false note. Innovative. BRUTAL. And goddamn funny. Hype = believe it.

Collider: Absolutely loved THE AVENGERS. Was smiling from beginning to end. Two things that made THE AVENGERS amazing: the Hulk and the humor. Joss Whedon gets a 10 out of 10 on both of those.

Seth Green: So that was AMAZING. Like, double plus awesome. Thank you Joss Whedon for giving us all the Avengers movie we deserve.

XXLMag: Just getting out of “The Avengers” world premiere. Thought the film was major. LOT of action, laughs and surprises. Hulk stole the show.

Now I seriously can't wait for the Avengers to hit theaters nationwide! Positive reactions about the Hulk? The Hulk stole the show? FINALLY!

Can we say, "Awesome?"

As many comic fans have had many doubts and debates about Marvel screwing up the Avengers, these early tweets help me stand my ground on being sure that Avengers movie is going to be one hell of an awesome ride!

I am still holding my stance on the fact that I liked Captain America's costume better in Captain America: The First Avengers as opposed to his new costume in The Avengers, however.

The Avengers assemble May 4rth at a theater near you!
