The Avengers L.A. Red Carpet Movie Premiere! Watch The Video!

Updated on April 13, 2012

Wednesday night, The Avengers movie, based on the Avengers comic books by Marvel Comics, made it's premiere in Hollywood L.A. last night, and it was a huge massive event. Stars of the movie showed up as well as other major celebrities to see this huge event in movie, film, and even comic book history.

With fans screaming in the back ground, hoping to see a glimpse of the cast of the movie, interviews were done on the red carpet, which included legendary Marvel Comics editor and former owner, Stan Lee. Stan Lee is an amazing ham on camera, and always fun to see.

Also making an appearance and interviewed was Kevin Feige, The President of Production at Marvel Studios. Mark Ruffalo, who plays the legendary Hulk and Dr. Bruce Banner, was one of the first of the cast to be interviewed on the red carpet.

The video also shows interviews with the cast of the movie such as Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), but the real entrance was made by Robert Downey Jr., (Iron Man/Tony Stark) in which fans completely freaked out.

As fans chanted for him, Downey Jr. did not shy away from fans. Instead he headed confidently towards them and graciously greeted fans and signed autographs. Actually, it was one of the first things Downey Jr. did upon his arrival, choosing the fans over the bombardment of camera flashes to pose in front of for ego.

That's awesome! Giving love to Marvel Comics fans. Just like his character Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr. absolutely showed class at this premiere. Imagine that!

Iron Man I and II director, Jon Favreau, was also interviewed, as well as writer/director of The Avengers, Joss Whedon. Lot's of great interviews from the cast and the movie's key players in this premiere video for comic book fan boys!

Excitement? That word's an understatement to describe the anticipation of what fans are feeling until this movie officially hits theaters nationwide May 4th.

Watch the video to see great interviews with Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki).

Be sure to scroll the player ahead a few seconds. There's a long blank beginning in the video for some reason, but fellow Marvel fans - Enjoy!
