The Dark Knight Rises by Christopher Nolan

Right now the final episode in the Batman series written by Christopher Nolan is being filmed. Very few details have been leaked about this highly anticipated production with the exception that this series will conclude with The Dark Knight Rises.

From what I have read it will be filmed all over the world and all the regular cast will be back with a few additions like Gary Oldman and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.

There is a great deal of speculation around the new character of Bane a prisoner who was experimented on who became an addict.

I have read rumors that the League of Shadows will be involved in this final battle for the souls of Gotham.

Christopher Nolan has really taken this series into the deep psychological recess of the criminal mind. These films have show the dark and treacherous toll crime takes on society and on the human spirit. I have no doubt this film will exceed all expectation and double what both first two films grossed in box office sales.

What I would conclude is that Batman finally embraces his fear and becomes something more no longer loathing what the death of his family has made him, an unlikely hero.

I conservative estimate this will be the movie of the year.
