This Fall Premiers the show Person of Interest on September 22, 2011 at 9pm on CBS. The story is very Orwellianin that a super computer is created to predict violent crimes but there is a catch. The computer can only identify people of interest in a violent crime which means the computer can identify the victim, the perpetrator or the witness. So they need an intelligence operative to decipher who is is whom in this computer predicted crime. It rather reminds me of the plot to minority report.
It is created by mega producer JJ Abrams and Dark Night writer Jonathan Nolan. Jim Caviezel stars as former CIA operative who is to stop the violent crime before it happens. Micheal Emerson plays the handler and creator of the super computer.
I am looking forward to seeing the premiere of this show.
