Tornado Destroys Seneca, South Carolina
On April 13, 2020, an EF3 level tornado touches down, in the city of Seneca, South Carolina, in Oconee County, South Carolina, and nearly wipes the city off the map.
The tornado destroyed thousands of residential homes, businesses, left half the city of Seneca without power, and costs millions of dollars and damages.
At the Borg Warner Plant, 77-year-old security guard Jack Harvill, of Walhalla, South Carolina, was stationed at the main entrance when the tornado touched down. He was the only one killed at the plant.
