Lady Gaga - Whats Wrong with Lady Gaga?

Updated on November 30, 2012

Lady Gaga -- What’s wrong with Lady Gaga?

Lady Gaga outdid herself again, everytime she appears in major awards or show she captures the attention of everybody, well she is Lady Gaga. Of course, there is nothing wrong with her.

I am sure everybody knows this lady? Who could not listen to her song Poker Face.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28, 1986), better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American recording artist. After being signed to and quickly dropped from Def Jam records at age of 19, she began performing in the rock music of New York City's Lower East Side. During this time, she was also working at Interscope Records songwriter for several established acts, including Akon, who, after hearing Gaga sing, convinced Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine her to a joint deal with the label and Akon's Kon Live Distribution label.

Lady Gaga knows - trendsetter - Lady Gaga has a fasion of her own

Lady Gaga is trendsetter and ares to change the norm

Lady Gaga knows how to catch attention.

Gaga by the way in my native tongue (Filipino) translates to being stupid or something like that. Now don’t judge me, I like Lady Gaga, but I cant dress the way she dresses nor talk the way she talks, but I am not judging her. She is just being herself and I am just being myself. Why I do like her,? because she dares to be different. She knows what she likes and capitalizes on it. And people like her are the ones who changed the world (not in revolutionary way but maybe in fashion sense etc.)

Oftentimes we hear people say that artists should be a model of good behavior, but rather than debating about her behavior as being bad or not, she is an artist and part of packaging herself are her attitude and fashion style. Take it or leave it.

Lady Gaga has been accused of being too vulgar, insinuating that she is a man in a woman’s body etc. and also including the way she dress herself. What’s wrong with that?

There is a theory in sociology specializes in deviant behavior. Now let me try to expose you to some concepts like norms etc. Norm is expectation of a pattern of behavior. It is expected to behave in a certain way, like for example, having to fall in line in a cafeteria to get your food. It is rude to just go in front of the line and then grab a food right?

But sometimes there are people who tries to go beyond that norm, and Lady Gaga is an example of that. She dresses so sexily and daring. It might be weird to some, but it is the way she expresses herself. By the way, those who dare to go against the norm are the ones who are the trendsetter because after sometime they will have follower and thus the action becomes a norm in itself, they are called the movers or the ones who dare to change the trends or norms.
