Your Life Is A Melody?

Updated on August 26, 2009

If one puts their life into a melody it can play a beautiful song.  Some times the tone is smooth and the rhythm is peaceful, other times its beat crashes us against the the shore.  Many times the song writers and singers have captured it so well that it plays at the strings of our heart.

♥  That first love:

Oh yes, we all remember that first time we fell madly in love.  We seem to remember vividly because it probably was as a teenager and we didn't know how to handle it, yet it was very real and powerful at the time.  The pain of love is the pain of being alive.

♥  New Loves:

Each new love can be tested by giving it time.  Each new love can be more exciting than the last one.  Each new love brings new memories that we hold and cherish as long as possible.  Each new love is like quick-silver in your hands and you have to hold it tightly or it may slip through your fingers.

♥  Timeless Love:

It is said that every thing has a season, yet a love has no---clock.  Love can be timeless!

♥  Special Moments:

It has been said that we need someone to love us, while we are looking for someone to love---Love is demanding!

♥  LOVE HAS NO ENDING ♥

Ginn Navarre, I loved the tunes. Very profound statement you made there:

"we need someone to love us, while we are looking for someone to love."

It's so hard to get it to be the same person, isn't it?

Aya, thanks. Yes it is hard, but I have loved each and everyone of them along the way.

What an enjoyable read---you did it again! Thanks for all the wonderful memories through the music of Dean Martin (yummy), Brook Benton, etc. Now that was music! You never forget your fist “REAL” love. After all, that person taught you what LOVE really meant--I was in my late 20’s when we found one another.

Thanks Brenda, yes I have been told that I'm not the typical grandma and my grandchildren think it's COOL, yet I'm just being me. To many people today try to be what they are---not!

Hey Cris, I love all kinds of music. Songs are great stories set to rhythm. I do tend to favor Blues & Jazz. The second button I press in the morning when I fall out of bed is first the coffee maker and then the stereo for music can make any gloomy day much brighter.
