    What's the name of this movie please?

    made in the late 50's or early 60's About two best friends, one girl one boy, they sail to the boy's vacation home for the weekend or spring break or something like that. While they're there the girl finds this cute guy and they start liking eachother meanwhile this makes her best guy friend jealous. The best friends throw a party at the house. The guy who the girl likes tries to take advantage of her and the best guy friend saves her. In the end the parents find them and they get in trouble.. it's a really cute movie, I don't know the name

    When I think of old 50s or 60s best friend that are boy and girl, I immediately remember Beach Party or one of those beach movies with Annette Funicello, who was a brunette and Frankie Avalon. 

    In the same realm of those old beach movies, was Gidget, played by Sandra Dee (blonde) and her boyfriend Moondoggie, played by James Darren.

    Look them up and see if they look like what you're talking about.  Bet I'm close.
