They've released thirteen studio albums, the latest being 2010s All You Need Is Now which proved they are far from a simple "nostalgia act" but still a thriving and creative band.

28. Arcadia vs. Power Station - Comparing the band's two 80s side projects

After "Seven and the Ragged Tiger", members of Duran Duran separately took part in two side projects with very different sounds and personalities. Power Station consisted of John Taylor, Andy Taylor, Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson, and their sound was heavy funk and rock. Arcadia had a much more "artsy"/synth-heavy sound, more similar to that of previous Duran Duran recordings, and consisted of Simon, Nick and Roger.
