According to espn, Donald Sterling is not only hellbent on fighting the nba's lifetime ban against him, but he's also prepared to fight his wife, shelly, for the rights to sell the team. He claims that the nba and shelly sterling have no legal grounds to sell the team because he didn't approve it. Take in mind, Shelly Sterling did have Donald declared mentally incompetent by two professional doctors, who both gave her legal documentation to make her sole trustee of his estate for now. Donald Sterling is fighting this by saying he's never been mentally incompetent. In fact, the nba commission Adam Silver is worried that this could delay the process of the ownership of the clippers transferring to former microsoft ceo balmer, due to court litigations.
what are your thoughts on this? do you think Donald sterling should fight to reclaim ownership of the team? or do you think he should just walk away? what are your thoughts?
