The Geico commercials with the eyeball-endowed stacks of cash have to be the worst. I don't get them at all and they annoy the heck out of me. Of course the fact that I remembered them enough to talk about them here must mean that they are working in some regard. So perhaps they are more ingenious than I give them credit for.
