im new to the beat making indusrty and i always find myself getting stuck and i cant think of...
any beats to make, do u have an idea or solution to this problem?
I say listen to music that inspires to you become a creative beat maker.
Yes what I do to get over this road block is just play around eith the keys.
Sometimes that does it for me but what really does it for me is to take a popular song and extract one thing from that song like maybe a beat or a tune and then build my own versions of music around it.
I do this and make it sound as unique as possible then when I am finished I usually take the copied tune from it and add my own.
This usually works very well for me and it keeps me being both competitve as well as creative.

I think that I hum as some sort of coping mechanism. I always find myself humming "Don't Worry be Happy" by Bobby Mcferrin or a slower, drawn out version of "Singing in the Rain" by Gene Kelly.
