Don't forget "8-Track" tapes.
All I know is that after a lifetime of wishing I could have only the best songs from any record or tape, and of wishing I didn't have to bother changing records or tapes every time they reached the end; I'm pretty happy to be able to hold hundreds of "the best songs ever recorded" in the palm of my hand. Now that we have good old Mp3's I'm happy and have no idea what may be next. - zampanoposted 16 years ago
