How would you rate the telecast of the 83rd Annual Oscar Awards on ABC?
the damning thing is that because people download and pirate all the good movies, the studios are instead left to make stuff that old ladies like, and thus we're left with Kirk Douglas, Natalie Portman, Randy Newman, Helen Bonham Carter, the Kings' Speech, lord. Unfortunately the finest woman alive -- Amy Adams -- will now have to worry about that Melissa Leo chick whenever a good role comes up. But James Franco was pretty good.
I rate it rather boring. I really think they need a good host. Bob Hope and Billy Crystal were the best.
