One rare occasions I still buy DVD's, around Boxing Day mostly, when I can get movies that wont be on Blu-Ray anytime soon. But nothing over $5, or else I'm just going to wait for the Blu-Ray to come out.

I do and I'm not sure why.  I think I am afraid I will get a decent collection of blu-ray and they will change to another format.

Blu-ray Players do up-convert DVDs to better quality. So if I find a DVD that is cheap and I know won't be out on Blu-ray any time soon then I do buy them.
