Punk rock or devil worshipper?
a lot of people think of punk rockers like me are demon lovers of some kind. why?
news media has stereo typed the punk rock and even more so the metal fan as devil worshipers,...
the use of christian and pegan symbols by bands like megadeath in the begining started it,... the symbolism fed into the end-times paranioa of the 70's televangelists,.. its a look that musicians have embraced ever since,... musicians understand the artistic statement,... televangelsts only understand the tool of fear,... and so it goes
the metal scene in northern europe realy does have a nitch for devil worshipers and an anti-church movement, but thats the exception not the rule,....
most rock and metal artists had religious back grounds, and continue to be deeply faithfull throughout life,... its art,... its a statement,... its outside of the norm,....
oh hell,... its rock and roll,.. like lemmy says
people as a whole think metal heads and rockers are demonic because,.. well,... to be blunt,... they believe everythig they are feed by yellow media,... and well,.. once more being blunt,...
theyre stupid narow minded sheep
stclairjack, These people are so steriotypical... just because other bands used it doent mean were all like that! i totally agree with you on the narrow minded sheep thing
because you don't agree with there religious or political opinions and sence your not like them they identify you as evil don't listen to them there just miss informed and stupid.
punk is not a devil worshipper.. maybe they think that the genre is demonic because we wear black.. and how we sing that genre.. we scream we growl we jump like there's no tomorrow we headbang but that doesn't mean we are satanic.. we just have a unique genre.. and we know how to appreciate that thing.....

So, I included my personal top5's for the genre for the 70's and 80's and hoped a few of you would want to join in the fun. And please, no arguing about what...

Because they want to conquor the world for self glory. They simply want to enjoy earthly, mortal, unhuman treasures for the sake of society. They do not bother for poor, sick, helpless, downtrodens, society's image etc. They are like disobedient child falling down and down and does not bother...
