I'm writing a paper on movies and one of the movies I need some opinion on is Casablanca, the 1942 classic.
So if I could just trouble some of you for some pros and cons or positive/negative feedback that would be great!
How could anyone possible hate it?
It is perfect. The script is wonderful, the chemistry between the actors is excellent, and it has Humphrey Bogart and Claude Rains...
I always found it interesting that it was originally hurried into production because of the plethora of WW2 movies being pumped out of hollywood and... well you didn't ask for history...
The only con I can think of is that it is a really low budget film... but that's only a con if the movie does poorly.
A big pro is the unique story line about people trying to get overseas that end up stuck in Morocco.
