Michael was a great movie! But I have to be honest I forgot about it until I seen lindalou's answer. I was going to say Wild Hogs.

Toss up between "Face/Off" and "Broken Arrow" for me... Travolta plays a bad guy surprisingly well

Travolta also played a woman surprisingly well in "Hairspray". Thanks for your answer.

Pulp Fiction. It was kind of a weird film, but made me see him as something other than Grease, Saturday Night Fever, or Vinnie Barbarino from Welcome Back Kotter series.

I agree, Pulp fiction seemed sort of weird, but one of the other hubbers found it interesting, maybe I'll try it again. Films like Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Vinnie definitely left an imprint of Travolta's character portrayals. Thanks!

Travolta was great, funny, and entertaining as a woman in Hairspray. I was surprised he did that role.  Grease is an all-time favorite for many. Thanks for your answer.

Definitely Pulp Fiction. It's a great film all around from the plot to the acting and directing. Travolta delivers a great performance that adds to a classic film.

I guess I can answer my own question. I liked "Saturday Night Fever" not so much for the story, but for the dancing Travolta did. I wonder if he can still do that? l liked "Hairspray" thought he was hillarious. Does anyone remember when he came out in "The Boy in the Glass Bubble"? I am pretty sure that was the name.
