Tough question. For my style of music? "Remember the Titans" is an excellent soundtrack.

I think this answer is more difficult than one might think, and I think that soundtracks can be put in three categories.
    1) Original Music
    2) Compilation of Songs
    3) Music by the subject of the movie.

So, for these categories, I would have to say:
    1) Last of the Mohicans
    2) Blow or Forrest Gump
    3) Amadeus

For me it has to be Rocky. That music makes me work harder in the Gym.

I'm gonna answer this based on songs from the movie and I'm going retro with Grease!  Epic soundtrack in its day!

I think the Greatest Movie Soundtrack is - 'The Pirates of the Carribean', which is a very well produced Big Band sound.

I love the soundtrack for the movie Congo.  Great music.  Not sing-along music but it is good.

Breakfast at Tiffany's! I love this classic soundtrack by Henry Mancini, probably because I heard it so much when I was a kid. It always brightens my spirits. The music that plays during the party at Holly's apartment is my favorite part.

I'm a big fan of the Braveheart soundtrack. It gives off a very calming celtic vibe that I can read to. I also enjoy the Lord of the Rings soundtracks.

I have to say that Tarzan, Disney movie and Spirit the Stallion of the Cimarron.  This are kids movies but the best soundtrack ever I think is Grease.  And the movie Jonah from Big Idea Veggie Tales.

I think anything by Hans Zimmer is absolutely mind-blowing, his tracks for Sherlock Holmes, Inception....
