Does it mean when you know how to play guitar you also know how to sing?
I play the bass guitar and I am faaaaaaaar from knowing how to sing. I don't think you automatically get the ability to do both. However, you could always learn. You may not be the best singer but you could learn to carry a tune if that is what you desire. It is possible to learn to sing and sing well providing you are not tone death.
The easiest answer to this question?
I rest my case.
of course not....singing and playing guitar are entirely different. but funny thing is generally those people who play guitar think that they can sing as well, and when they sing, the charm of their playing dies as well. so one should identify properly that can he or she sing along with playing guitar or not....
Nope. I know some people who speak rather well, but, couldn't write themselves out of a wet paper bag. Conversely, the same applies to guitarists who try to sing. It's a crap shoot.
As MickS said, we can all sing if we can speak. Whether it is pleasant to the ear is another matter.
