    Probably the rooster because he tuned her out when the chicken was clucking on and on about having to clean the coup, peck the lice from his feathers, scratch in the dirt for HIS worms when he was sick. Also complaining that HE HAD the energy to wake up early because SHE did everything else. Not to mention having to pass a Grade A large egg through her butt and having to sit on it for weeks. Then...the little chicks follow her around all day while HE mingles with sleazy hens and has an occasional territory fight with other manly cocks. I believe the first rooster crowed, "Cock-a-doodle-done!"

    Eggs, of course. Archeological evidence has shown that some dinosaurs were egg layers, dinosaurs predated birds, therefore eggs came before chickens.
